Description
Most centrally located in the heart of Berlin. Very close to the old town, the sights and the museums. Close to Potsdamer Platz, the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag. 10 Minutes to walk to Check Point Charlie or the Jewish Museum. Almost all sights are within walking distance.
The Hostel is not only in the middle of Berlin's Nightlife area, but just a few metres away from the famous Tacheles - probably the most famous origin of the new berlin. But you don't have to leave the hostel to party! - there is a nightclub downstairs. The famous Kalkscheune offers the full variety from techno, rock, concerts, parties to comedy and even cabaret.
The Helter Skelter is the Bacpacking Community Hostel. Sheets included. Self Catering Kitchen (from 1.2.). No Lockout, no Curfew. Hang out in the Reception, have dinner with new friends - be a part of a self organising reception, party all night and chill during the day.

Zoo station:
take any s-bahn from platform 5 four stops to friedrichstrasse, exit onto friedrichstr., turn left, you should cross over the river spree, after the bridge take your first right into ziegelstr, then first left into kalkscheunenstr, we are on the right handside number 4-5.
Ostbahnhof:
take any s-bahn from platform 10 or 11 four stops to friedrichstrasse, see above.
From Airport Schönefeld:
take the s-bahn to friedrichstrasse, the see above.
From Airport Tegel:
take the bus 128 to u-bahn kurt-schumacher-platz, then get on the U6 in the direction alt-mariendorf, get off at oranienburger tor, go out the exit in the same direction as the u-bahn has left, keep walking, take the first left into johannisstr., then first right into kalkscheunenstr., we are on the left handside number 4-5.

If you need to cancel a reservation, please note that:
a) for any 72+ hours advance notice: it does NOT provide any cancellation fee. Nonetheless, deposit and booking fee are no-refundable.
b) for any 72- hours advance notice or in case of a No-Show: if not otherwise reported by the establishment, the customer will be charged a cancellation fee corresponding to the price of the first night per person.
Both customer and establishment will receive an automated notification of the cancellation via e-mail. In every case, deposit and booking fee are no-refundable.
