Description
Nice b&b hostel and hotel in the northern city of Berlin with direct communications to most of the sights within 30 min.The Hotel Pankow is located in the part of Berlin, where the East German leaders lived. The nearby castle 'Niederschönhausen' (10 walking minutes from the hotel) was their guest-house. Krustschov, Breshnev, Fidel Castro, Nasser and Arafat all stayed there.
The hotel is a light and airy house, with all the amenities necessary for a nice relaxing stay. The furniture in our rooms is modern and of a Scandinavian style. Every room has a cable-TV, a phone a writing desk and in most of the rooms there is a comfortable armchair. Behind the hotel there is a hotel-owned parking lot, where parking is free. In the garage parking is €3/day.
Near the reception there is a computer for the guests, where you can read and write your e-mails or just surf the internet. The first 20 minutes are free. And after breakfast our breakfast room converts to a little Bistro, where we serve snacks and drinks.

From the city underground U2 to Pankow. Here you change to tram (streetcar) nr. 50
(direction Frz. Buchholz-Guyotstr) and go to Pankower Strasse. The hotel is right at this station.

a) for any 72+ hours advance notice: it does NOT provide any cancellation fee. Nonetheless, deposit and booking fee are no-refundable.
b) for any 72- hours advance notice or in case of a No-Show: if not otherwise reported by the establishment, the customer will be charged a cancellation fee corresponding to the price of the first night per person.
Both customer and establishment will receive an automated notification of the cancellation via e-mail. In every case, deposit and booking fee are no-refundable.
