Description
During your visit you want to stay at a funny place! That's what we are. A basic hostel on a cargo-ship in Amsterdam, only 10 minutes away from down town and Central station of Amsterdam. We provide you with clean linnen and a real maritime experience in Amsterdam, the ship will rock you asleep.
There is free internet and limited amount of hot showers (3). You find us at the NDSM docks, this used to be a ship dock where cruiseships were build over 300 meters.
We have a russian submarine to look at and Greenpeace with the ship Sirius is close by. There are restaurants and bike rental and a skatepark. One of the buildings is MTV headquarters and the other Art-city wich contains a lot of small companies that make art, like music, video, sculpures fashion, theater etc.
At the docks there is a static show of how to safe energy, and the use of other kinds of energy then oil. In the summer these docks are used for art festivals. You are welcome on board. saturday 28 july for example a mega dance party.

TT neveritaweg 15 next to café Noorderlicht ab Marietta Ship
Wether you come by bike, airplane (Schiphol airport) or bus ( eurolines), go to the central train station Amsterdam. By car follow the carroute.
From the Central Station you take the free ferry NDSM-veer and in 8 minutes you will be at our harbour NDSM. Off the ferry take a right, along the new headquartes of MTV europe go into the street tt NEVARITAWEG. Follow the sign Noorderlicht restaurant.
we are located next to that restaurant at the ship called Marietta (green coaster).
The fNDSM ferry goes every half hour from 15 past and 45 from central station.
During night, take the special nightbus 363 from down town to us. Take the stop Atta Turk walk south 2 minutes (into Van Riemsdijkweg) go into TT NEVARITAWEG, road between MTV and the big building with the blue door. keep on walking strait and follow the signs restaurant Noorderlicht. we are just next to that restaurant at the ship Marietta.
With a car go on the Singel around Amsterdam, take the exit S118. follow direction's Noord amsterdam/ tuindorp,then follow SIGN WITH NUMBER 179. You will end up at the Van Riemsdijkweg. and MTV building go left, TT NEVARITAWEG (the sign is behind you at the big building with the big blue door. Go in between two buildings true a gate of NDSM warf and follow signs restaurant Noorderlicht. We are just behind that restaurant at the ship Marietta.
