Description
We are located in a lovely, peaceful area between Amstel river and Frederikspark,next to a canal, near by trams, metro,a walking distance from the all city atractions: Carré, Rembrandtplein,museums, red light district...We serve a large buffet-style Dutch breakfast in the cheerful dining room which reflects a musical atmosphere reminiscrent of the sixties. The nightlife is close-by with such options as the bustling Leidseplein, Rembrandsplein, The Holland Casino, Carré and the Musictheater. The hotel is also conveniently located in regard to the RAI and the World Trade Centre.
Our hotel was built in 1727, dating back to the height of the East India Company when it served as a captain's residence, and retains all its historical tipical down town's charm.

By car:
Geting out of highway A2 follow the Centrum.DO NOT GET ON THE RING ROAD,drive under!At the end,turn right along J.F.Kennedylaan and Amsteldijk;Amstel river would be on yr right.On last trafic light turn left along Stadhouderskade.At the 2-nd lights,turn right to Westeinde.At the next lights,drive straight crosing Frederiksplein.On the end of a park,turn right.You will see our hotel ahead
Public transport:
From the Airport take a train to Central Station(ca 15 minutes and 3,80 eu)and then from CS a tram nr 4 (ca 10 minutes; 1,6 eu)). Step out on Frederiksplein and follow back way of a tram till the end of a park. Then follow the right.
Taxi from CS costs ca 13 €. Taxi from the airport cost 35 €.

If you need to cancel a reservation, please note that:
a) for any 72+ hours advance notice: it does NOT provide any cancellation fee. Nonetheless, deposit and booking fee are no-refundable.
b) for any 72- hours advance notice or in case of a No-Show: if not otherwise reported by the establishment, the customer will be charged a cancellation fee corresponding to the price of the first night per person.
Both customer and establishment will receive an automated notification of the cancellation via e-mail. In every case, deposit and booking fee are no-refundable.
