Description
Hotel Collodi is a lovely little Inn located in the historical centre of Florence, in the St. Lorenzo district. It is an approximately 5 minutes walk from the Santa Maria Novella Central Railway Station, congress and exhibition centre, and from the most important sights and museums.
All rooms have private bath/shower and WC and are tastefully furnished in typical Florentine style with fine details and an elegant and warm atmosphere. The beds are made from wrought iron. Every room is equipped with TV with CNN, minibar, telephone, air condition and private safe. The furniture, accessories and rooms are accurately checked by the management.
The professionalism and competence of our staff will make your holiday in Florence lovely and unforgettable. Our staff provides also reservations for Uffizi Galleries, Pitti Palace Museums and Academy of Fine Arts (Michelangelo's David).
Parking in a private garage is near the hotel on request (supplement).
Check-in is from noon to 10.00 PM. Please advise us in case of later or earlier arrival. In case of an arrival in the hotel after 22.00 PM without giving notice the hotel considers the booking cancelled for the day itself and also for the following days.

By train:
the railway station of Santa Maria Novella is located about 400 meters from the hotel. Going out the station, take the exit near the Pharmacy, go straight and cross the street at the traffic lights and turn right towards the Mc Donald's. Go always straight and cross the street Largo Alinari. At the next corner you reach Piazza dell'Unità Italiana. Turn left in Via Sant'Antonino. You have to go until the end of the street where you will see the door of the hotel. (During your walk you will pass the Central Market - Mercato Centrale)
From the station to the hotel it's just a 10 minutes walk.
By car:
Go towards the S.M. Novella Railway Station driving along S. Caterina d'Alessandria Street until you find a square on your right (Piazza Indipendenza). Turn left at the always blinking traffic lights in Via Guelfa. Follow the street and take the third street on your right side (Via Ginori). Then turn right on the next street. Now you have reached Via Taddea. You will find our hotel is on the right side.

If you need to cancel a reservation, please note that:
a) for any 72+ hours advance notice: it does NOT provide any cancellation fee. Nonetheless, deposit and booking fee are no-refundable.
b) for any 72- hours advance notice or in case of a No-Show: if not otherwise reported by the establishment, the customer will be charged a cancellation fee corresponding to the price of the first night per person.
Both customer and establishment will receive an automated notification of the cancellation via e-mail. In every case, deposit and booking fee are no-refundable.
