Description
The Locanda Canal is a small hotel in the centre of Venice. Housed in a XIII century building facing the Rio del Remedio, it is in a quiet spot a short distance from the St. Mark Square. It is two minutes from the Riva degli Schiavoni and very close to the Querini Stampalia Gallery in the Santa Maria Formosa Square. The Rialto Bridge and the Grand Canal are three minutes walk. It is also within easy distance of the Fondamente Nuove, from which there are frequent boats to Murano, Burano and Torcello.
Locanda Canal offers 8 elegant furnished rooms, 6 double standards, 1 single room with french size bed and a junior suite both with direct view on the canal.
Each room is fully equipped with private bathroom with jacuzzi shower, hair dryer, satellite tv, safe, phone, air conditioning and heating, possibility to connect with your own laptop.The breakfast room is bright and friendly.

From the airport Marco Polo of Venice:
Take the water bus Alilaguna (red line) until S. Zaccaria (60 minutes), go along the Calle delle Rasse into the Campo San Filippo e Giacomo. Cross the Campo at its wide end and continue along the Calle della Chiesa. Follow the yellow signs to Querini Stampalia. Turn left into the Campo San Giovanni Novo and turn right under the covered passage into the Fondamenta del Remedio: the canal will be on your right, the Locanda Canal straight ahead.
From car park (Piazzale Roma) or the railway station:
We suggest you to take the vaporetto Actv number 85 to san Zaccaria (one stop past St Mark's Square). Go along the Calle delle Rasse into the Campo San Filippo e Giacomo. Cross the Campo at its wide end and continue along the Calle della Chiesa. Follow the yellow signs to Querini Stampalia. Turn left into the Campo San Giovanni Novo and turn right under the covered passage into the Fondamenta del Remedio: the canal will be on your right, the Locanda Canal stright ahead.

a) for any 72+ hours advance notice: it does NOT provide any cancellation fee. Nonetheless, deposit and booking fee are no-refundable.
b) for any 72- hours advance notice or in case of a No-Show: if not otherwise reported by the establishment, the customer will be charged a cancellation fee corresponding to the price of the first night per person.
Both customer and establishment will receive an automated notification of the cancellation via e-mail. In every case, deposit and booking fee are no-refundable.
